A Smart and Meaningful Choice
Do you enjoy practical work where safety, teamwork, and precision are central? We are now looking for forklift drivers for our Paper Mill in Braviken, an important role in our loading operations where you contribute to ensuring our products reach customers worldwide.
About Bravikens Paper Mill
Bravikens Paper Mill is one of the world's most production-efficient paper mills. With advanced technology, we refine the Swedish forest into innovative specialty papers used for magazines, books, direct mail, and packaging. Here, you will always be close to knowledgeable and engaged colleagues. The desire to do a good job and contribute to a greener future is evident. We employ nearly 400 people. Our mill is located by the beautiful shores of Bråviken outside Norrköping.
Your Role
As a forklift driver, you primarily work with loading paper rolls onto trucks, containers, and boats. You operate both counterbalance forklifts (about 3.5 tons) and larger forklifts (up to 8 tons). The larger forklift brings rolls forward, while the smaller one loads them.
You have daily contact with drivers, often with limited language skills, which requires clear and helpful communication. You receive loading documents, scan all rolls into the system, and collaborate with our loading planners regarding discrepancies such as missing, misplaced, or damaged rolls.
The work requires good mental arithmetic and a sense of order, as you ensure that loading patterns, capacity, and safety meet standards before the load proceeds.
Who You Are
In the role of forklift driver with us, you need to be a person who works in a structured manner, finds it easy to collaborate, and enjoys a daily routine where the pace can vary. You have a natural focus on safety and accuracy, ensuring that the load is always correct, stable, and ready for transport. The role involves many contacts, especially with drivers who do not always speak either Swedish or English, which means you need to be clear, attentive, and patient in communication. You actively contribute to a positive work environment, solve problems together with colleagues, and maintain order in the flow to create a safe and efficient loading process.
We See That You Have:
- High school education
- Good knowledge of Swedish
- Ability to communicate in English
- Forklift license B
- Driver's license B
It’s a Plus If You Have:
- Previous experience in forklift driving
- Good mental arithmetic skills
- Experience from an industrial environment
We Offer
We focus on our employees and place great importance on a well-planned introduction so that each new colleague quickly settles into their role effectively. Our culture is characterized by an open and welcoming atmosphere where the values of courage, commitment, and responsibility permeate the entire organization.
With high employee engagement, both within the team and at the mill as a whole, we offer a workplace where people thrive, grow, and develop together.
The position is a 6-month full-time temporary contract, with working hours during the day from 07:00 to 15:30. The placement is at Bravikens Paper Mill outside Norrköping.
Application
Please submit your application by February 8, 2026. In this recruitment, we apply ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. You only need to attach your CV; instead of a cover letter, you will answer a few questions.
